The Story
SPELLBOUND®,
manufactured with the highest standards & craftsmanship, Kojima, Okayama, Japan.
Domingo CO Ltd is one of the leading Denim Companies in Japan and was established in 1946 (the third eldest denim manufactory). Under the company name, they released three different denim lines, DMG (Lady’s only), Spellbound (Men’s only) and OMNIGOD (Men’s and Lady’s).
At the Beginning of 1970’s they register the name of Domingo and produce cotton made goods and they were producing staff and school uniforms, mainly to be sold to to wholesale stores in Kansai region. Until the Mid 80’s Domingo was making a name as 'the' original jeans manufacturer and was aiming the high profiled shops in the whole country. In the early 90s, they believed that 'the mass production period' was over, and changed scope to 'individual design and craftmanship (add to value) production! They change the 'design and production direction' and become what Domingo stands for at present times 'Denim and Garments manufactured with the highest Standards and Craftsmanship'!
The company is very persistent on its design principles and craftsmanship where each piece of product has a consistent amount of attention paid during its production. This has gained the trust and confidence from clients where they know that the garments do not only have beautiful details and finishes, but their constructions and materials will also endure years of time.
